Role Overview

We're on the lookout for a full-time in-house Loan Officer at Best Option Mortgage in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. As a Loan Officer, you'll be in charge of reviewing and making decisions on loan applications, offering expert financial advice, and ensuring compliance with both government rules and company policies. Moreover, you'll collaborate closely with clients to guide them through the loan application journey, all the while maintaining top-notch communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with potential clients via phone and email to evaluate their mortgage requirements and financial situation.
  • Offer thorough details about Best Option Mortgage's range of products and services, assisting clients through the initial pre-qualification phase.
  • Coordinate and confirm appointments for clients with loan officers, guaranteeing a seamless and efficient process.
  • Provide excellent service by keeping in touch with clients at different stages of the loan process, from the first contact to post-meeting follow-ups.
  • Cultivate and nurture client relationships, delivering customized service that reflects the values of trust and client contentment at Best Option Mortgage.
  • Use CRM systems to record interactions, appointments, and follow-up tasks, ensuring that all client data is current and easily accessible.
  • Take part in regular training and professional development activities to stay abreast of market trends, mortgage lending rule modifications, and industry innovations.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in the financial sector is preferred
  • Keen eye for detail and strong decision-making skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a dynamic setting
  • Familiarity with federal and state regulations concerning lending
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Certification in Mortgage Loan Origination is advantageous
  • Weekly branch leads calling on zillow leads.
  • Active NMLS license required.
  • Demonstrated track record as a Loan Officer or in a similar capacity, emphasizing customer service and appointment arrangement.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients over the phone and establish quick rapport.
  • Efficient organizational skills and multitasking capabilities
  • Experience with CRM software
  • Familiarity with mortgage lending practices, compliance regulations, and the loan application process
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
