In the role of a Manufacturing Project Engineer you will oversee the development, support and continued improvement of manufacturing processes across major functions or multiple facilities.

What you will do:

•Managing the planning, documentation, implementation, support and maintenance of manufacturing processes, procedures, machinery and tooling to improve efficiency, cost effectiveness, quality and safety.

•Researching process performance data to identify and implement process changes that improve yield, runtime, quality, safety and cost-effectiveness.

•Managing the activities and resources for manufacturing engineers, process design and support personnel.

•Providing on-going support for manufacturing problems and deficiencies; troubleshoots technically challenging production problems.

•Leads confidential footprint projects requiring appropriate discretion.

•Translates demand forecasts into production and capacity requirements.

Lean Manufacturing: Knowledge of the philosophy, principles and implementation approaches of lean manufacturing; ability to integrate and implement lean manufacturing philosophy into existing production and management processes.
Level Expert:

•Defines and executes a strategic lean implementation plan.

•Mentors others on the organizational and cultural transformation needed for effective lean implementation.

•Creates training programs for the approaches to developing and executing a lean supplier strategy.

•Leads discussions on the history and evolution of lean manufacturing; cites successes and failures.
