Position Overview:


As a Microsoft Project Scheduler, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of projects within our organization.

Your expertise in Microsoft Project Professional, Microsoft Project Web App, and Microsoft Office 365 products will be essential in creating and managing project schedules.

You'll collaborate closely with project managers, technical experts, and cross-functional teams to maintain accurate timelines and drive project success.

The following are tasks that the position is responsible for, but not limited to:

Project Scheduling:

  • Utilize Microsoft Project Professional and Microsoft Project Web App and collaborate with Project Managers to create project schedules.
  • Ensure alignment of schedules with project objectives, milestones, and dependencies.
  • Collaborate with project managers to incorporate changes and adjustments as needed.

Expertise:

  • Demonstrate proficiency in building project schedules for construction projects and specialty trade projects.
  • Leverage your knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 tools to enhance scheduling efficiency.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Monitor project progress against established schedules.
  • Prepare regular reports on project status, highlighting any deviations or risks.
  • Analyze data to identify potential delays and help Project Managers determine the best corrective actions.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Coordinate project schedules with project teams, stakeholders, and relevant departments.
  • Facilitate efficient distribution of schedule updates and reports.
  • Keep all team members informed about changes and adjustments.

Hybrid Work Environment:

  • Work in a hybrid setting, spending 2 days per week in the office and the remaining days working remotely.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues across different locations (Houston, Austin, and Grand Prairie, Texas).

Reporting Structure:

  • Report directly to the Operations Administration Manager.
  • Serve as a key member of the Project Management Team.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Project Management, Engineering, Business).
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is advantageous.
  • Possess at least 3 years of handson experience with Microsoft Project Professional.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project Professional, Microsoft Project Web App, and Microsoft Office 365.

Compensation:

Work Hours:

Our office hours are from Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There is no set schedule for field personnel as work schedules vary depending on client needs.
