Job Responsibility
- Provides direct service to patients and their families using a variety of social work modalities in order to help clients maximize their functioning.
- May direct the activities of paraprofessional staff, social work interns and volunteers.
- Performs related duties, as required.
- ADA Essential Functions
- Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited school of social work.
- LMSW required within one (1) year of employment.
- Experience as required/preferred by position is indicated on MSW generic posting form.
- Current Driver's License and/or own transportation available to maintain caseload, schedules and travel to clients' homes, required.
- 1 year Post Master Work Experience in Emergency Room populations, required.
- 1 year Post Master Work Experience in Medical populations, preferred.
- 1 year Post Master Work Experience with Psychiatric populations, required.
- 1 year Post Master Work Experience with Adolescent populations, required.
- 1 year Post Master Work Experience with Child populations, required.
- Experience in Discharge Planning, and Short Term Crisis, preferred.
