Position Overview:

The Marketing Director role involves devising and implementing a holistic marketing strategy to heighten brand visibility, boost lead generation, and support sales endeavors.

As the inaugural marketing hire, you will shape and lead a marketing unit, oversee pivotal marketing activities, and collaborate closely with key stakeholders to realize organizational goals.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Content Marketing: Develop and execute a strategy to spur engagement and lead generation. Manage a content calendar with blogs, whitepapers, case studies, and webinars.
  • Product Marketing: Craft product positioning and messaging to set our offerings apart in the market. Undertake market research to grasp customer needs and competitive dynamics.
  • Sales Enablement: Provide sales tools like decks, product sheets, and case studies. Support the sales team with the necessary knowledge for effective product pitching.
  • SEO and Website Management: Build an SEO strategy to enhance search rankings and website traffic. Oversee website content for optimization and user experience.
  • Brand Development: Ensure a robust, consistent brand identity across all channels. Execute PR strategies for brand enhancement and manage social media engagement.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Define and track key marketing metrics, prepare reports for the executive team, and leverage data-driven insights to refine strategies.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • 7+ years of marketing experience, ideally in the SaaS domain
  • Proven record in developing and executing successful marketing strategies
  • Proficiency in content marketing, product marketing, SEO, and sales enablement
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strategic thinking and tactical execution capabilities
  • Experience with marketing automation tools and CRM systems

Salary Range: $100K-$150K
