I. JOB PURPOSE


The Plating Operator 1 will learn and perform the basic functions of the tumbling area and end of etch line operation.

II. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Ability to understand and follow work instructions
Assure product quality through continual evaluations of product for defects
Complete all associated documentation (Shop orders, checklists, and all other related records)

Ability to identify materials through a BOM and utilize the ERP system to move materials in and out of production.

Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines, including training and proper use of PPE.
Recommend improvements to process and product.
Meet and exceed all performance standards in Etching and Tumbling operations.
Ability to recognize and report equipment and quality issues to area leader.

Requirements:
III. JOB QUALIFICATIONS OF PLATING OPERATOR
High School diploma or GED preferred
Ability to read and comprehend written work instructions
Basic computer knowledge - input daily information
Proficient verbal and written communication skills
Ability to perform basic job functions.
Must be physically capable of lifting 50 pounds safely and without injury.
Hours of this role are Monday through Thursday, 6:00am - 4:00pm, occasional opportunity to work overtime on Fridays.
