Position Details:
We have a wonderful full-time opportunity for you as an On-Site Service Representative in Columbia, SC


The Services Representative (OSR) will be part of a supportive team reporting to a Supervisor or Manager of Onsite Services. In this role, you will assist assigned customers by effectively managing their inventory, delivering exceptional customer service, and boosting account growth through our innovative inventory management program known as KeepStock.

Our Service Representatives (OSRs) collaborate with partners to implement sales tactics and guide customers on how Grainger can cater to their Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) requirements.


Pay:
This role offers an hourly starting rate of $20.

While the mentioned range serves as a benchmark, final compensation decisions are influenced by various factors such as a candidate's background, skills, location, and internal team equity.

You Will:

  • Serve multiple customer locations
  • Stock purchased products at designated customer sites and monitor stocking levels to facilitate timely reordering.
  • Address customer issues promptly to enhance loyalty.
  • Follow specified routes and adhere to safety and facility inspection standards.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancing productivity and processes.
  • Engage with customers to identify additional product requirements and generate new orders.
  • Understand customer needs during site visits and collaborate with sales partners to expand Grainger's product offerings.

You Have:

  • 3 years of experience in sales or a service-oriented role.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Ability to lift weights ranging from 25 to 60lbs and work in challenging positions.
  • Strong collaboration and problems-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency in handling technical and operational challenges.
  • Valid driver's license in the resident State and necessary automobile insurance coverage.
