Duties:

  • Conduct routine inspections of equipment, and machinery to identify faults and potential issues.
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and machinery to diagnose malfunctions and determine the appropriate course of action.
  • Repair or replace defective electronic parts, such as sensors, switches, circuit boards, and wiring, using hand tools, soldering equipment, and diagnostic software.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance technicians and engineers to develop and implement maintenance procedures and protocols.
  • Document maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and preventive maintenance tasks, accurately and comprehensively.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working with electronic equipment and machinery.
  • Stay updated on advancements in electronic technology and participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of electronics principles.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical principles and the use of basic hand tools for troubleshooting and repair
  • Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and specification sheets.
  • Able to communicate and coordinate tasks through to implementation.
  • Understanding of lean processes.
  • Minimum of three years of machine/electronics maintenance experience in a medical device/pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of, and commitment to, safety requirements for machines and facilities.
