The daily duties of the position include; charge and payment entry, obtaining and tracking insurance authorizations, communication and cooperation with the physical therapists regarding coding, calling insurance companies and patients, explaining benefits to patients, working on accounts aging, claim appeals and misprocessed claims, responding to medical records requests by insurance companies, etc.
