JOB SUMMARY

As an Occupational Therapist, you will assess patients, develop care plans, provide treatment, and offer consultations within a rehab caseload. You will work with an interdisciplinary team, provide training to care staff, and participate in program development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Evaluate and treat physical and cognitive deficits affecting daily life activities based on MD's orders.
  • Create restorative programs and educate residents on adaptive equipment.
  • Develop and maintain Care Plans for residents, ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Conduct Resident Home Assessments during discharges and screenings during admissions.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy, valid Professional Licensure as per state requirements, and two years of clinical experience (preferred).

Effective verbal and written communication skills, strong clinical judgment, and time management abilities are essential. Must meet ASHA requirements.

Ability to work well in diverse systems and communicate effectively at all levels.
