Job Description:

Reporting to the Senior Associate Director of Undergraduate Recruitment the Assistant Director of Transfer Recruitment is responsible for all domestic undergraduate transfer recruitment with a particular focus on recruitment from Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New York Community Colleges.

Work with Admissions leadership to assist in the development and implementation of best practice recruitment tactics to grow enrollment and NTR generated by transfer students. Manage a full territory with targets to potential high yield community colleges. Provides pre-transfer advising through outreach to prospective transfer students at local and regional 2-year institutions. Manage the full inquiry, applicant, call to deposit and yield journeys for all domestic transfer students. In coordination with both the Senior Associate Director of Undergraduate Recruitment and the Senior Associate Director of Admissions Operations and Marketing design and execute a full communications and marketing campaign to attract potential transfer students to AIC. Serve as a knowledgeable/expert resource for inquiries from various sources regarding the admissions process for transfer students at AIC. Provides prospective undergraduate transfer students with accurate and timely mapping of current completed coursework to their desired AIC degree academic advising and degree planning to enable them to successfully matriculate and earn a degree from AIC Advises prospective transfer students in person, in small groups, by phone, or in online space to provide an initial review of transfer credits, discuss academic and career goals relative to major selection and timely degree completion, and connect students with appropriate academic programs and support resources on campus. In coordination with the Campus Events and Visits Coordinators design and host Transfer Visit Days. Other duties as assigned.


Requirements:

A minimum bachelor's degree is required. Minimum of at least 3 years of experience in transfer admissions and recruitment, college admissions, and/or other customer service organizations with proven evidence of being able to meet pre-determined enrollment and/or budget goals.

Prior experience working in an CRM application system including but not limited to AY application systems, Salesforce, TargetX, Slate, and ERPs, including Banner for an educational institution highly desirable.

Spanish proficiency considered, but not required.

Excellent time management skills and flexibility to balance significant travel and in-office responsibilities.

Out of region domestic travel (4-6 weeks per year) may be required, as well as some evening and weekend work.

Proven ability to work independently, excellent communication and presentation skills, sensitivity and responsiveness to the needs of diverse constituencies, and managing goals. Spanish proficiency highly desirable, but not required.

Ability to handle a wide variety of job duties and prioritize based on the supervisory direction.

The candidate will need to be proficient with the Microsoft Office suite.
