Adult Day Support Program in
Chantilly, VA

CRi's
Life Coach is a day support and community program position supporting individuals with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities, exhibiting high intensity behaviors.

Our Life Coaches provide life/social skill training, community integration supports, and aid in making meaningful community connections while implementing Person Centered Plans, Behavior Support Plans, and crisis response strategies.


Location:
Chantilly, VA


Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8am-4pm


Compensation:
$20.79/hr


Requirements

Minimum Qualifications Required:

  • Must have a High School diploma.
  • Minimum of one (1) year working with individuals with developmental disabilities, preferably in a day program.
  • Knowledge of high intensity behavioral supports is a must.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to walk, stand, stoop and push a wheelchair.
  • Ability to be out in a variety of weather.
  • Ability to lift 70 pounds repetitively.
  • Ability to implement strategic physical intervention techniques that require rapid physical movement.

Working Environment:

Indoor and Outdoor program site and various community locations. Must use universal precautions.
