About You

You will be responsible for representing STIHL in a specific geographic area, managing product and accessory sales, and nurturing customer relationships to ensure dealer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate should reside on the northeast side of Minneapolis/St. Paul or in the Hudson, WI area.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Boost STIHL sales by analyzing market conditions, competition, and dealer network to develop strategies for enhanced distribution and profitability.
  • Engage with dealers regularly to implement national and regional promotions, merchandising initiatives, and branch programs in collaboration with various departments.
  • Provide training to new and existing dealers on STIHL programs and facilitate large-scale trainings through STIHL University.
  • Drive new dealer acquisition, oversee store installations, and deliver initial training.
  • Participate in regional trade shows and dealer events to promote STIHL products and services.
  • Support assigned initiatives and develop business plans with dealers to drive growth opportunities.
  • Ensure accurate reporting and handle dealer administration tasks efficiently.
  • Undertake additional duties as delegated.
Specifications
  • Holder of a Bachelors Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Preferably 5+ years of experience in sales or service of portable power equipment.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Willingness to travel 2-3 days per week by road or air.
