Job Description
McDonald's is looking for a Director to join the Global Communications Team. This role is dedicated to driving strategic communications that inspire action within the McDonald's System.
- Lead Enterprise Transformation Story: Develop and frame the enterprise transformation story strategically.
- Drive Ongoing Enterprise Storytelling: Instill a storytelling culture and develop strategies to advance the enterprise transformation with System audiences.
- Forge partnerships with global functions and change management teams to understand the company platform and employee experience agenda thoroughly.
- Advise leadership on communication efforts, implement effective strategies, and identify key voices to advance narratives across System channels.
- Develop Milestone Announcements: Oversee the creation of enterprise communications content for various audiences and contexts.
- Integrate Transformation Business Partner: Lead transformation communications across initiatives and international markets.
- Enhance Employee Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams to empower employees with effective communications that connect them to the enterprise transformation.
- Prior corporate communications experience in strategy development and execution.
- Strong writing and editing skills for various communication channels.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and experience working with senior executives.
- Demonstrate critical thinking, creativity, and attention to detail.
- Effective collaborator across teams and geographies.
- Curiosity and openness to new topics and cultures.
- Ability to deliver innovative communication strategies.
