QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in insurance or finance preferred
- Property Casualty License beneficial
- Courses and designations such as CPCU, ACI, CCI, and CIC a plus
- 6 years of underwriting experience required
- Supervisory experience advantageous
- Strong analytical and math skills
- Proficient in Captive Pricing Models and Program Structures
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Skilled in premium pricing and risk analysis
Our client is seeking an Underwriting Consultant to assess risks and manage underwriting operations, including liaising with stakeholders, analyzing data, and maintaining customer relationships. Key responsibilities include:
- Building and maintaining relationships with agents, brokers, and internal teams
- Collaborating on program service issues with claims and risk control teams
- Developing underwriting guidelines and rules
- Improving risk selection through data analysis
- Acting as a resource for property and casualty coverage
This is a Direct Hire Position. Credit security clearance is required for this role.
