The

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)


will partner closely with our CEO, the executive leadership team and the Board to provide trusted financial reporting, insight and special project support.

This role is a key strategic player in helping map out success and scale up (organic and M&A) to take advantage of Professional Credit's platform and proprietary technology advantage.

This role leads a financial team and would be part of an entrepreneurial leadership team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Develop and implement financial strategies that align with our mission.
Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to support strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with executive leadership to drive business growth, operational efficiency, and sustainable profitability.
Ensure robust internal controls and risk management processes are in place.
Provide insightful financial analysis and guidance to support new initiatives and investments.
Foster relationships with stakeholders, including clients, investors, and regulatory bodies, to enhance trust and transparency.

Establish and maintain systems and controls which verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data, and enhance the Company's value.

Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.
Create an environment and culture of learning and continuous improvement.
Special projects as assigned by the CEO or Board

Qualifications

What are we looking for and what does it take to get started?
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or relevant field. CPA preferred.
CFO/VP Finance level prior experience in a mid-market ($20M-100M) company going through growth and scale up.
Trust accounting depth in remit payments, reconciliation and cash tracking to customers

Technology-enabled, data-driven platform company experience working with large amounts of Consumer data (omnichannel messaging- digital/text/call/AI) and related regulatory compliance insight and best practices.

Revenue Cycle Management industry experience serving Healthcare and/or Government/Public Sector preferred.
Nationwide breadth of service and trust accounting proven track record preferred.
Private equity backed venture and related M&A (buyside & sellside experience) in an entrepreneurial venture preferred.
Big 4 accounting foundation earlier in career, preferred.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Commitment to ethical conduct, confidentiality, and maintaining the trust and confidence of members and team members.
Proven track record of leadership and establishing strong working relationships with key stakeholders in the organization.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
