Job Description

The General Manager position plays a key role in overseeing the safety, operational efficiency, and financial success of the companys operations in San Antonio. This individual will act as the primary point of contact for customers, clients, engineers, and field personnel within the company.

Company Overview: The company is a leader in providing well drilling and pump services in the San Antonio area.

  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) specific to the San Antonio operations.
  • Manage all aspects of contract processes, from estimating to bidding and executing drilling and pump service contracts.
  • Coordinate closely with general contractors and subcontractors for seamless operations.
  • Regularly visit water well project sites to oversee progress and address any issues.
  • Ensure clear communication among field personnel, customers, and sales staff.
  • Participate in designing and implementing annual business plans alongside the executive management team.
  • Collaborate with HSE Director and operations supervisors to enforce safety protocols.
  • Develop and oversee budget requirements for job costs and overall operations.
  • Assist in evaluating equipment readiness and managing refurbishments and purchases as needed.
  • Supervise the coordination of service equipment maintenance with the Facilities & Fleet Manager.
  • Manage human resource functions for operations staff, including recruitment, hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Handle any other assigned duties professionally and efficiently.
