NVIDIA has been transforming computer graphics, gaming, and accelerated computing for more than 25 years. It's an outstanding legacy of innovation that's motivated by phenomenal technology—and outstanding people.

Today, we're tapping into the unlimited potential of AI to define the next era of computing, an era in which our GPU acts as the brains of computers, robots, and self-driving cars that can understand the world.

At the core of this transformation lies image processing and data compression.

We are looking for a technical, user-focused Product Manager to help define and build the next generation of NVIDIA's Image Processing Software with groundbreaking performance and functionality.

As an Image Processing Libraries Product Manager you will lead numerous teams in building out libraries such as DALI , nvCOMP , nvJPEG , NPP , and nvTIFF.

You will be defining the ever-growing future of these libraries in the expansive NVIDIA platform, working across various cross-functional teams within NVIDIA and with a multitude of customers.

Additionally, you will work with software developers, hardware developers and research scientists to enable an array of applications including AI, computer vision, healthcare, life sciences, autonomous vehicles, materials science, computational chemistry, quantum computing and related fields.

If you have the rare blend of both technical and product skills, and a passion for groundbreaking technology we would love to learn more about you.

What You'll Be Doing:
Define and Prove – You will gather insights and build market analysis that provides the data to enter or change new markets through a clear value proposition for your product

Market intelligence – Understand your developers and foster their needs through roadmaps and priority setting

Build and Deliver - Work closely with engineering to set requirements and priorities

Sense and Respond - Work closely with customers, build surveys, present at conferences, understand product quality and monitor critical bugs

Product launches – Define the go-to-market strategy and contribute to the cross-functional implementation of the plan across Marketing, PR, Sales, etc.

Asset creation – Work with marketing to define positioning that enables the creation of technical content, including blog posts, webinars, developer tutorials, and more to communicate the product value proposition.

What We Need To See:
Degree in Computer Science or related engineering field (Ph.
D. or Masters preferred) or equivalent experience

Experience and familiarity with computational image processing, AI and scientific computing applications

Significant experience in a technical product leadership role at a technology company

5+ years experience delivering software, libraries and SDKs

Proven track record of collaborating cross functionally

World-class communication skills with a demonstrated ability to articulate a value proposition to technical and non-technical audiences

Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd:
Previous experience in the use and/or development of software for image processing

Experience designing APIs for end-users

Experience with CUDA or GPU computing

We are widely considered to be one of the technology world's most desirable employers. We have some of the most dedicated people in the world working with us. If you are agile and autonomous, we want to hear from you.
The base salary range is 160,000 USD - 310,500 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits .

NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
NVIDIA is committed to fostering a diverse work environment and proud to be an equal opportunity employer.

As we highly value diversity in our current and future employees, we do not discriminate (including in our hiring and promotion practices) on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, disability status or any other characteristic protected by law.
