Job Title: Maintenance Technician at Dogwood Industries

General Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team in Everett, Washington. The ideal candidate will handle both routine and unscheduled maintenance tasks on production equipment in our metals fabrication shop.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Utilize test and diagnostic equipment for issue identification and resolution
  • Execute equipment modifications as per supervisor instructions
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment problems
  • Set up equipment and perform small tool disassembly and repair
  • Maintain inventory of spare parts and consumables
  • Conduct general facility maintenance and repairs
  • Perform any other assigned duties

Flexible working hours might be necessary.

Skills Required:

  • Follow manufacturer's maintenance guidelines
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines
  • Proficient with hand and power tools
  • Interpret schematic diagrams and equipment manuals
  • Order small tool parts and communicate effectively
  • Maintain cleanliness in the work area
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards

Additional Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with 480V 3PH cord and plug repairs
  • Ability to manage bridge crane and hoist maintenance
  • Basic welding, carpentry, and computer skills
  • Technical degree and forklift experience

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years maintaining industrial equipment

Physical Requirements:

This role demands physical agility, mobility, and the ability to lift heavy objects. The employee may be exposed to various elements in the shop environment.

Compensation:

Hourly wage of $35.00, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
