Job Title: Site Mechanical Assembler - Nuclear
Reports To: Wayne Maddox - Construction Manager

Business Unit: Konecranes Nuclear Equipment and Services, LLC

Principal Responsibilities:
  • Work alongside craft labor crews
  • Perform quality work checks
  • Receive and unload materials
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Rework and repair assembled equipment
  • Identify material defects
  • Organize tools and containers
  • Assist in rigging activities
  • Maintain communication with the project team
  • Follow established quality standards and safety rules
  • Participate in safety meetings
  • Other duties as assigned


Other Qualifications:
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Experience in welding and fabrication
  • Good driving record
  • Ability to work at elevations
  • Team-oriented and customer-focused
  • Able to read mechanical drawings
  • Awareness of industry regulations


Education:
High school diploma required. Associate's degree in Industrial Electrical/Mechanical Technology or related field is a plus.

Experience:
Five to ten years' experience in material handling equipment assembly

Travel:
Expected travel 10-20%
