YOUR ROLE:

  • Provide technical and design services as part of a multi-discipline project team, focusing on power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and voice/data systems for various types of facilities.
  • Create electrical design/construction drawings using REVIT and AutoCAD software.
  • Monitor electrical construction progress on assigned projects.
  • Prepare design computations, assessments, technical reports, and correspondence following guidance from senior engineers.
  • Ensure timely completion of assigned design tasks within budget.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager, Sr. Electrical Engineer, and other team members to efficiently deliver work.
  • Report to the Senior Engineer.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in similar facilities.
  • Process-oriented with strong organizational, technical, and communication skills.
  • Excellent communicator able to interpret directions and coordinate with teams.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Autodesk REVIT and Microsoft Office suite including Bluebeam.
  • Knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC) based on experience.
  • Strong technical acumen and keen interest in staying updated with technology.
  • Willingness to perform field surveys and climb ladders when necessary.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle and criminal record.

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with AutoCAD.
  • FE/EIT examination completion and progressing towards Professional Engineer licensure.
