About the Job and Company:This Manager (Contracts - Legal) role is a key position that demands a deep understanding and experience in contract preparation and review. This role supports Travel + Leisure's Strategic Development, Corporate Facilities and Risk Management teams and involves regular interaction with these business units, external business partners, and legal advisors. Providing prompt, positive, and professional customer service is crucial in cultivating a constructive and collaborative relationship with our clients. The role requires adeptly managing multiple deadlines for various stakeholders within a nationwide business team. Excellent communication skills are essential. Autonomy is granted in overseeing this area of responsibility, with minimal supervision from the Director, Counsel, or VP. How You'll Shine:
  • Manage contract requests (averaging 500+ annually) and related contract documentation, such as reports, notices, templates, and procedures.
  • Enhance ServiceNow contract intake forms.
  • Draft various vendor contracts, master service agreements, amendments, renewals, and notices pertaining to resort projects, property insurance claims, and corporate facilities.
  • Collaborate with business clients to streamline processes, refine contract language, and address vendor-related issues.
  • Work with business clients on project timelines and priorities.
  • Coordinate and oversee all communication with business clients.
  • Provide training to team members on contract processes and templates.
  • Train new business clients on our contract intake platform (ServiceNow).
  • Conduct legal research, including reviewing governing documents, case law, and statutes.
What You'll Bring:
  • Ability to make independent judgments and escalate matters when necessary.
  • Work autonomously and manage changing priorities effectively.
  • Extensive experience in typing, editing, formatting, proofreading contracts, and related documents.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines with high-quality results.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe products, and legal research.
  • Associate Degree in paralegal studies or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years' experience in contract preparation and review as a paralegal.
  • Preferred experience in hospitality/timeshare.
  • 2+ years' experience in project management.
