Job Description

Position Summary

Under management supervision: implement automation programs that will assure production of finished goods that meet or exceed customer specified requirements. This poistion will drive operational efficiency by leading process mapping, analysis and enginerring of Robotic Process Automation in an agile environment. The RPA Engineer will work in partnership with all operations departments to understand their workflow challenges and introduce solutions using robotic process automation tools. Requires an ability to work within a diverse work force as a change agent.

Essential Job Functions

  • Process mapping
  • Workflow analysis and solution desing
  • RPA builds using RPA platforms
  • Build well documented solutions using flowcarts, layouts, diagrams and procedures
  • Participate in continuous improvement by innovations in emerging technologies and presenting these for review
  • Learns and adheres to all safety rules and regulations.

Accountabilities

  • Assures compliance of the documented RPA system and promotes consistency throughout the
  • organization.
  • Participates in the establishment and implementation of RPA methodology within the organization.
  • Adheres to and remains abreast of all corporate policies.
  • Commits to team and corporate goals, mission, and vision.
  • Visits customers and suppliers when necessary.
  • Submits one Continuous Improvement Program idea (CIP) per quarter.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Business or Technical Discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Must exhibit exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong working knowledge with Automotive Industry Quality Systems (ISO/IATF).
  • Experience in inspection techniques and metrology.
  • Proven problem-solving ability.
  • Solid blueprint reading skills including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
  • Sound knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP).
  • Strong analytical, technical and computer literacy skills.
  • Ability to effectively interact with associates at all levels.
  • Must satisfy quality standards.
  • Can clearly communicate orally and in writing.
  • Manifests non-violent behavior.
  • Uses clear independent thinking.
  • Has regular attendance.
  • Must start work on time.
  • Must work the scheduled shift.
  • Must conform to current environmental standards.
