Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Cook to our Dietary Department at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. This is a Full-Time opportunity working various shifts with rotating weekends. The ideal candidate will have experience as a line cook or grill cook working in a restaurant. ServSafe certification is a plus.
As a Cook I, you will be responsible for:
- Measuring, mixing, portioning and cooking according to provided recipes and production charts for patients, guests, and staff.
- Working clean, safe, and sanitary in accordance with department policies
- Filling out all logs, production charts, cleaning schedules, etc assigned by management in accordance with department policies and procedures
- Providing excellent customer service to our guests, patients, and staff
- Working in a fast-paced environment
- Taking ownership of their area this position will be responsible for prepping, cooking, and engaging with customers
