Reporting directly to the Director of Program Finance, this role is integral to maintaining financial clarity and efficiency within the organization.

  • Prepare a comprehensive cost status report (CSR) based on estimates for each project, examining project budgets, actual costs, and variances to ensure accuracy and timely submission.
  • Create monthly customer financial reports, validate actual cost reports, provide variance analysis, and assist in monthly closing activities.
  • Responsible for project setup, service order activation, and production work order support in the ERP system.
  • Offer inputs for sales, EBITDA, and cash forecasting processes on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Monitor and assess program costs, conducting financial analyses for labor, materials, subcontracting, and ODC estimates against budgets and forecasts.
  • Prepare Contract Billing in coordination with Program Management and engage with customers as necessary.
  • Analyze product design changes, material requirements, and manufacturing methods to evaluate cost impacts and identify potential efficiencies.
  • Estimate costs of new products or services and participate in the proposal process for new awards.
  • Collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders, demonstrating excellent communication skills, adaptability, and effective interaction across different management levels.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of combined Finance/accounting education and work experience.
  • Previous experience in Department of Defense (DoD) finance.
  • Proficiency in interfacing with various functional disciplines in program development and execution.
  • Knowledge of different contract types such as CPPF, FFP, and T&M.
  • Strong analytical and problems-solving capabilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including macros, pivot tables, and various formulas.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse management levels.

Preferred Requirements

  • Active DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Experience with Deltek CostPoint ERP, Microsoft Access/SQL, and Data Visualization tools like PowerBi or Tableau.

Schedule

Upon successful completion of training, this position offers a Hybrid Schedule with a 3-day in-office requirement.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
