Responsibilities:
Develop and implement quality control policies and procedures to ensure the highest level of product quality and customer satisfaction
Conduct regular quality audits, identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve processes and products
Train and lead teams on quality control standards and procedures
Monitor and analyze data to identify trends and potential product or process issues
Develop and maintain quality documentation and reports, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Assist in the continuous improvement of supplier quality control processes
Act as the main point of contact for quality-related inquiries and issues from customers, suppliers, and internal teams
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in quality control methodologies
Investigate customer complaints and lead the implementation of corrective and preventive actions
Manage a team of Quality Control Technicians, providing coaching, feedback, and support for their development
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
5+ years of experience in a quality control or assurance role, preferably in a manufacturing
Knowledge of ISO 9001 and other quality management standards
Strong understanding of process improvement principles such as Six Sigma or Lean methodologies
Proven experience in managing and developing teams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and ability to analyze data and identify trends
Demonstrated ability to lead and implement change
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality control software
