Core Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Load/ unload freight from trucks and trailers.
  • Securing freight and removing equipment used to secure freight.
  • Packing and repacking freight.
  • Attaching/ removing trailer identifiers (magnets and some decals).
  • Collecting/ giving ppw from/ to drivers.
  • Docking/ parking trailers including moving them in the yard as needed.
  • Cleaning freight/ prepping trailers for use (including ID of any damage to trailer and reporting it for repairs).
  • Keeping warehouse in clean/ working order or according to supervisor's instruction.
  • Completing orders expressed by customer or supervisor.
  • Maintaining warehouse inventory including scanning/ marking and or labeling freight and ppw.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. manually.
  • Must get a DOT physical to assist with local pickups/ deliveries if required by supervisor.
  • Must speak fluent English.
  • Must have a comfortable use of email, networking programs (including slack, teams), and spreadsheets (including airtable and excel).
  • Must be flexible with shift hours based on operational demand.
