SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Collaborate with the Director of Creative Design to develop custom pieces for our clientele, new apparel and accessory designs.
  • Recolor artwork and create flat sketches using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Develop and maintain style and line sheets for product collections utilizing InDesign.
  • Source materials and manage relationships with suppliers.
  • Track prototypes through the development process, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
  • Perform administrative tasks including data entry, maintaining accurate records, and organizing files.
  • Communicate effectively with multiple departments and external vendors to facilitate product development.
  • Adapt to changes in project scope, timelines, and priorities with resourcefulness and a positive attitude.
  • Ensure accuracy and thoroughness in all aspects of work, demonstrating a commitment to quality.
  • Work collaboratively within a team environment, contributing to a positive and productive work culture.

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  • Basic understanding of sewing construction and materials.
  • Comfortable creating style and line sheets.
  • Experience in sourcing materials and working with suppliers.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and handle interruptions efficiently.
  • Demonstrates accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail in all tasks.
  • Adaptable to changes in the work environment and able to meet challenges with resourcefulness.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with drawing and têxtile design using Clo3D is a plus.
