We are currently searching for a talented Bridge Engineering Manager to join our Mid-Atlantic Region in Camp Hill, PA or surrounding area.

The ideal candidate will lead their local department by managing, overseeing and periodically performing engineering-related tasks including research, development, design, and delivery on assigned project(s).

What you'll be doing:
  • Managing projects/tasks and staff in the delivery of those projects/tasks
  • Developing scope and fee proposals for various projects and tasks
  • Overseeing, checking and performing calculations and analysis for designing bridge and transportation structures using various bridge design software programs
  • Review calculations and design details developed by others
  • Work sharing on project assignments throughout our corporate footprint
  • Performing and overseeing load ratings on bridges of various type size and complexity
  • Attend meeting with clients and other professionals and organizations for the purposes of expanding our business and winning new work
  • Leading and supporting proposal efforts to pursue projects and contracts
  • Develop solutions to challenges presented by the client within budget, schedule, and project constraints
  • Organize and maintain project files
  • Building and managing a group of structural bridge engineers and technicians
  • Attend meetings with clients and other professionals and organizations for the purposes of expanding our business and winning new work
What you need to have:
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Valid Professional Engineering Licensure (P.E.) in Pennsylvania preferred or ability to obtain
  • 15+ years of engineering experience in bridge design
  • PennDOT bridge design experience
  • Skilled in the use of Microstation or AutoCAD
  • Technical expertise for the layout & design of bridges and related highway structures
  • Familiarity with rehabilitation of existing bridges and highway structures
