In this role the ideal candidate will provide guidance to a development team(s) in ways that promote the client's systems development projects. In this capacity the ideal candidate will oversee agile development projects. The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader and will have experience in managing staff of different disciplines to produce results in a timely manner.

Position Requirements:

  • Ability to manage a portfolio of agile software development projects.
  • Must have a Top-Secret security clearance.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of IT Project Management experience to include:
    • Experience leading IT projects managing over (50) people on multiple Agile teams.
    • Experience in leading IT projects focused on modernization of an application.
    • Experience in assisting a Program Manager in working with the Government COR(s), Product Owners, Government technical personnel and/or customer agency representatives.
    • Project Management certification.
  • BS degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • Experience modernizing legacy systems and migration to DoD Cloud.
  • Experience sustaining multiple applications utilizing traditional custom development, DevSecOps Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) Pipeline (Software Factory), and Low Code Application Platforms (LCAP)/ Software as a Service (SaaS).
Desired Requirements:
  • SAFe SAFe Practice Consultant or Certified Scrum Master (CSM), preferred.
  • ITIL certified, preferred.
  • Understanding of DevSecOps Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) Pipeline (Software Factory), and Low Code Application Platforms (LCAP)/ Software as a Service (SaaS) industry best practice and applicable software development tools.
