Job Summary

Job Summary

GOAL:

Under the direction and close supervision of the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Director of Support Services or Designee, assist in delivering behavior and social instruction and assistance to individuals or small groups of students with behavioral needs; performs a variety of activities in support of instructional programs for students eligible under an Individualized Education Program (IEP), and assists teachers and staff in the development and implementation of behavioral strategies to enhance the students' learning experiences; responsible for providing skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols based upon the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) in the school setting, under the direction of a BCBA.

The Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) collects data on programs, assist with staff trainings, and assists with assessments as needed.

The RBT subscribes to the District's Mission and Vision that all students will learn at high levels and have educational success.
