OVERVIEW: Our BCBA Team Coordinator will offer direct and indirect services to support families and team members in Benchmark's Autism Birth to Three Program. They will provide training, set short-term goals based on family needs, ensure progress monitoring, and evaluate treatment progress to ensure positive outcomes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Compliance with all Federal and State regulations, including those specified in the Connecticut Birth to Three Program Regulations.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and team members to create a conducive learning atmosphere.
  • Assist in data tracking and analysis.
  • Utilize coaching and natural environment teaching techniques.
  • Develop customized goals based on assessments and family requirements.
  • Provide staff training to ensure effective teaching methods.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and offer feedback.
  • Share research-based strategies to support families and team members.
  • Coordinate team meetings and participate in relevant training sessions and meetings.
  • Review IFSP and related documents as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards for staff and individuals under care.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must possess an active BCBA license issued by the department of public health.
  • Management experience is advantageous.
  • Adaptability to different learning styles to meet individual child needs.
  • Familiarity with Early Start Denver Model and openness to training in ESDM strategies.
  • Minimum one year of experience working with Autistic children in early intervention.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to Natural Learning Environment Practices.
  • Valid Connecticut driver's license.
