We are seeking an experienced Acquisition Specialist with an active SECRET security clearance who possesses advanced knowledge of DoD acquisition processes and analytical methods. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and evaluating information to support our organization's acquisition initiatives. This position presents an excellent opportunity for a seasoned acquisition professional seeking to move into a program management role.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Apply expert knowledge of DoD acquisition processes and analytical methods and techniques to gather, analyze and, evaluate information.
- Assist with day-to-day on-site Program Management Support services that may include, assisting in activities related to capability acquisition to include writing and reviewing related program documents, tracking contracting actions, creating and reviewing travel authorizations and vouchers in DTS, and providing up-to-date status information.
- Research and devise solutions to problems relating to improvement of acquisition effectiveness and compliance, develop and draft acquisition documentation, and ensure quality control
- 5 years of relevant progressive experience with Bachelor's in related field.
- Strong knowledge and experience with DoD acquisition processes.
- Experience working with government contracting officers, program managers, and other stakeholders involved in the acquisition process.
- Clearance: Must have an active SECRET security clearance.
