Vice President of Manufacturing and Supply Chain

Location: Dallas, TX - 5% travel (onsite)

Responsibilities:

  • Support a complex production flow through the manufacturing area based on effective machine utilization and product scheduling.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement complex equipment maintenance programs to ensure all production targets are achieved.
  • Participate in maintaining adequate spare part inventories and initiate stock replenishment programs as needed.
  • Support the planning and supervising the execution of contractor work orders in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Participate in supervising complex shipping of products, equipment, and supplies.
  • Support and maintain an efficient receiving system, including incoming inspection systems, to accommodate both present and future raw material receiving needs.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the group to ensure a smooth workflow.
  • Ensure impact of decisions on business operations is direct and moderate.
  • Develop departmental budgets.
  • Perform work in compliance with established procedures and/or protocols.
  • Identify resource needs and suggest justification.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related discipline or advanced degree, where required. Certification may be required in some areas.
  • Demonstrate a knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures for supervised work group(s).
  • Demonstrate understanding and application of supervisory approaches for work direction, motivation, performance management, and disciplinary action.
  • 10-15 years of successful experience in a directly related field and successful demonstration of key responsibilities and knowledge as presented above.
