THE ROLE
As a Testing Technician at Kempower, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the ever-evolving EV market.

On a typical day, you'll be the final step in the assembly process, testing every product before it goes out to the customer, making a direct impact on our mission to revolutionize transportation.

In this role you will

  • Perform product final assembly for DC charging products and sub-assemblies
  • Perform product quality inspection to identify deviations
  • Perform product final testing according to set testing instruction and procedures
  • Use testing equipment and electrical measurement devices
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot products and testing equipment
  • Rework manufactured products in case of deviations
  • Report testing results to test database
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and calibration of testing equipment
  • Work with engineers to develop testing procedures and equipment
  • Adhere testing instructions and electrical safety rules and regulations
  • Maintain safe and clean working environment
  • Report production testing safety deviations and development ideas
  • Other duties as assigned

WHAT HELPS YOU SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE

  • Degree in electrical field
  • Certifications in electrical safety considered as advantage
  • Experience in testing power electronics applications (high and/or low voltage) in manufacturing environment
  • Experience in debugging and troubleshooting electrical products
  • Ability read, interpret and apply manuals and schematics
  • Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
  • Colour-vision due to colour coded wiring installations
  • Basic computer skills in using testing software, ERP and MS office tools
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Adherence to work instructions and checklists
  • Willingness to learn and positive attitude


As our official company language is English, proficiency in spoken and written English is required; knowledge of Finnish is seen as a plus.
