Job Summary:

As a CT Technician, your main responsibility is to operate diagnostic CT equipment and perform CT procedures independently. A positive attitude, strong initiative, and teamwork skills are essential for this role.



Job Functions:

  • Identify each patient and review relevant medical records
  • Ensure technical accuracy of CT examinations
  • Communicate effectively with radiologists and other healthcare providers
  • Orient images anatomically and maintain proper film identification
  • Be available for on-call duties as needed
  • Conduct quality control procedures

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:


Education:
  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
  • Previous experience as a CT Technician in a hospital setting

Licensure:
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Texas Medical Board Certification
  • BLS Certification

Skills:
  • Understanding of anatomy and physiology
  • Familiarity with radiographic procedures and equipment
  • Knowledge of radiation safety measures
  • Proficiency in patient positioning techniques
