TRC is currently looking for a skilled Construction Inspector to join our Construction Inspection team for a NYSDOT Interstate highway paving project in Poughkeepsie, NY. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented with hands-on experience and technical expertise in highway construction or restoration.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct field inspections to ensure Contractor compliance with contract documents.
- Perform necessary field material tests.
- Take field measurements, gather data, and prepare DWRs following MURK requirements in SiteManager.
Qualifications:
- Experience in bridge and highway construction, particularly with NYSDOT.
- NICET Level II or equivalent certification.
- Familiarity with NYSDOT MURK Documentation and SiteManager.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Availability for night shifts, overtime, and potential weekend work.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
