Job Title: Retail Station Assistant Manager

Job Expectations:
- Support the Station Manager in daily operations
- Supervise station operations and staff in the absence of the Station Manager
- Provide guidance and coaching to staff, ensuring tasks are completed as per CSI's standards
- Uphold safety, security, and quality guidelines, along with all other CSI policies
- Respond to incidents promptly and professionally, escalating issues when necessary
- Ensure compliance with wage & hour regulations
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accountability
- Promote safety and utilize CSI's Loss Prevention process
- Maintain professional interactions with colleagues, customers, and vendors
- Ensure reliable attendance
- Assist with inventory management and store operations

Principal duties include but are not limited to:
- Direct staff during shifts to cover station operations, including customer service and stocking
- Coordinate with other stations to avoid stock shortages
- Maintain cash handling procedures and train staff as needed
- Utilize and maintain food service equipment
- Report any issues affecting customer service or safety
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures
- Utilize computer programs for daily operations
- Keep relevant personnel informed in the absence of the Station Manager
- Oversee CSR duties and other assigned tasks
- Understand and enforce wage & hour guidelines
- Support CSI's core values

Job Specifications:
Required:
- Previous experience in retail, food service, or fuel environments
- Proficiency in cash handling and customer service
- Knowledge of sanitation and safety requirements for food handling
- Ability to work varied hours and multitask
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High School diploma or equivalent and at least 21 years old
- Physical ability to fulfill job requirements

Physical demands include but are not limited to:
- Continuous standing, walking, reaching, and grasping
- Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling
- Occasional lifting of varying weights
- Adherence to safety protocols around equipment and temperatures
- Exposure to outdoor conditions and cleaning chemicals
- Occasional exposure to cold environments
