Role Overview

Associate Directors play an important role at Sequel, participating in cross functional initiatives overseeing the health, security and performance of Sequel CRM technology platforms.

The position will participate in strategic planning, system implementation, enable user adoption of the platform, develop and track metrics to measure platform efficiency and improvement.

Salesforce is the platform for Sequel's Commercial organization, which includes but is not limited to Field Sales, Customer Care, Diabetes Educators, Marketing, Employer Manager Care Solutions and Patient Experience teams.

Salesforce platform will have a substantial footprint at Sequel, this role will be responsible for contributing the overall platform readiness to meet business needs including Marketing Automation and Employer CRM Solutions within the CRM practice, this role has the potential to evolve into a comprehensive CRM ownership position, encompassing all aspects of Sequel's CRM landscape.

This role will work closely with stakeholders to collect and document business and functional requirements, work with technical resources to provide detailed solution architecture recommendations in line with Sequel business goals.

Associate Director will be empowered to identify areas of improvement, design scalable native Salesforce solutions or work collaboratively to select third party tools and implement these changes.

The position will require working collaboratively with internal and third-party salesforce developers and vendors, owning technical projects start to finish, collaborate in a dynamic team, and build an architecture and solution compatible with the overall Salesforce platform footprint.

The Marketing Automation solution and the Employer CRM solution has not yet been implemented at Sequel, this role will play an important role in selection of the appropriate Salesforce solutions, implementation partner selection and roll out of the initial implementation and establishing steady state operations.

In steady, state the role is expected to be accountable for salesforce development, additional CRM solution developments, customizations, integrations and administration.

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties

Business Analysis and Solution Design:

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and provide expert guidance on best practices and solution design.

Maintain detailed requirements documentation, design documentation, system data flow diagrams and other documentation as needed.

Work closely with various departments impacted by CRM solutions to understand their needs and translate business requirements into effective Salesforce solutions.


CRM Platform Management:
Oversee the health, performance, and security of the developed of CRM platform(s) including configuration, customization, and integrations.

Project Management and Change Management:

Lead CRM implementation projects, supervise the day-to-day activities of the team to ensure effective support and development of solutions.

Proactively identify and respond to issues, limitations, and deficiencies in resource, scoping, and effort planning. Manage detailed project level and program level plans for the owned initiatives. Adopt Sequel standard practices for driving GxP and Non GxP changes.

Strategic Planning and User Adoption:
Work with stakeholders to define and implement a long-term Sequel CRM strategy aligned with business goals. Develop and implement plans to drive user adoption of the functionalities implemented in the CRM landscape.

Salesforce Development and Customization:
Own development projects start to finish, collaborate with other teams as required.

Develop and maintain implementation of custom objects, fields, formulas, validation rules and flows to enhance system functionality and user experience.

Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, customizations, and integrations. Establish and enforce governance policies, standards, and procedures for Salesforce usage and administration.

·Dev Ops and Automation: Establish dev ops processes and automation practices as fit for each CRM solution in the landscape.


Establish KPI's across CRM ecosystem:

Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and create reports and dashboards to track effectiveness of all solutions and integrations impacting the CRM ecosystem.


Continuous Improvement and Innovation:

Continuously evaluate and enhance Salesforce features and functionalities to support evolving business needs, incorporating best practices and innovative solutions.

Stay up to date with the latest software development updates and technologies, as well as latest development on marketing automation functional domain, to provide effective recommendations and implementation improvements to processes and systems.


Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in GxP, data management, security, and privacy within the Salesforce environment.


Data Integrity:
Implement and maintain security controls and permissions within Salesforce to protect sensitive information and ensure system integrity.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, IT, or related field.
10+ Years on CRM platforms serving commercial operations.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities


In-depth knowledge of business processes surrounding sales lead to opportunity lifecycle, sample accountability, B2C marketing, B2B marketing, asset management, customer care processes, product complaint handling.

7+ years' experience leading multiple complex deployments implementing Salesforce applications
Working knowledge of Salesforce platform, including specific clouds like Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Health Cloud, Marketing Cloud.
Experience managing budgets and forecasts.
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
Self-starter—able to execute upon multiple projects and against tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills and Competencies

GxP Compliance knowledge and experience in system qualification, validation and change control.
Data Management and analysis experience.
Salesforce certifications.
