This includes identifying shortfalls, conducting root cause analysis, developing corrective actions, and implementing quality control systems.They ensure the integrity of all components delivered to assembly plants according to print specifications, ensuring accuracy and reliability while providing engineering support to prevent interruptions in the assembly process.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Mechatronics preferred) 3+ years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in mechanical and electro-mechanical products such as industrial equipment, metal stamping, automotive, or plastic injection molding Strong understanding of PPAP, APQP, non-conformances, PFMEAs, etc.
Experience with 3D CAD, interpretation of engineering drawings, and GD&T Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred Strong analytical, problem-solving, and statistical analysis skills Excellent project management skills, preferably with experience in Mini-Tab Strong communication and interpersonal skills Willingness to travel up to 10%Nice to Have: Experience with terms such as A3 reports, DOEs, gage R7Rs Previous experience implementing Lean or Six Sigma principlesIf you believe you are a good fit, please apply now
