Our client based in San Diego in the fleet management space is looking to bring on a contract Senior PCB Technician. This role is 100% onsite in San Diego.
The ideal candidate will have experience in fabricating cable harnesses for prototypes and working with printed circuit boards (PCBs). This position involves intricate work on prototypes, requiring a keen eye for detail, precision, and a thorough understanding of electronic components and assembly processes.
What you need:
- 5+ years of experience in fabricating and assembling cable harnesses and PCB boards.
- Proficiency soldering, crimping, and using hand tools and testing equipment
- Familiarity with ESD (electrostatic discharge)
- Experience working with engineering teams and understanding schematics, drawings and instructions
- Willingness to work fully onsite in a lab environment
No sponsorship provided for this role. This role is open due to a member of the team going out on leave, but there is potential for the contract to extend and/or convert to full time. No guarantees.
