The ideal candidates will be forward-thinking, flexible, and experienced in transactional law practices. This position requires in-office attendance 5 days/week and flexibility to work overtime.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand and apply State and Local Rules, including Superior Court rules. Keep team updated on rule changes.
  • Analyze information and prepare reports for lawyers to decide on cases, business transactions, or regulatory matters. Assist with drafting and finalizing legal documents; attend client meetings, closings, and regulatory hearings.
  • Manage virtual workrooms and coordinate with clients on documentation. Handle general inquiries related to the firm's legal practice and communicate with clients as needed.
  • Draft correspondence, memoranda, and basic case-related documents for internal and external use.
  • Conduct routine document reviews, organize documents, and prepare for administrative or business closings as directed.
  • Organize, maintain, and retrieve document files, including correspondence, court papers, corporate documents, legislative materials, case records, transactional documents, governmental filings, and administrative forms.
  • Use mid-level understanding of regulatory, administrative, and court service requirements to complete routine legal filings and communications with court, tribunal, or agency representatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree preferred; high school diploma required
  • Paralegal certificate a plus
  • 3+ years of experience as a paralegal in public finance or comparable practice area
  • Strong technology skills
  • Professional communication skills
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
