As a Qualcomm Hardware Systems Engineer, you will orchestrate a comprehensive framework or system that influences the shaping of cutting-edge mobile, edge, auto, AR/VR, compute, IOT, wearable products.
Qualcomm Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., design, software, testing teams, etc.) to pinpoint hardware testing requirements and integrate elements into products or systems.
- Utilizes Hardware Systems expertise to devise, develop, adjust, and assess electronic parts, components, or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment, other hardware systems, and/or electrical engineering applications.
- Contributes to outlining procedures for technical platforms, system specifications, input/output, and working parameters for hardware and/or software compatibility.
- Carries out specialized analyses (e.g., feasibility studies, signal integrity, power integrity, equipment) to establish operational data and specifications.
- Designs system features and elements to detect potential flaws or adherence issues and identifies resolutions.
- Contributes to subsystem dialogue of chipset design and generates and adjusts schematics, design layouts, testing.
- Works with manufacturing POCs to produce hardware, performs verification of subsystem or design, and ensures platform compatibility and support from suitable systems requirements.
