The ARBORS at AMHERST is a family-owned Assisted Living Community situated on University Drive in Amherst.
We are seeking Certified Nursing Assistants and Home Health Aides to become part of our team in the role of Resident Care Aide. Both FULL and PART-time positions are currently open.

Responsibilities:
- Report to the Resident Care Director and Wellness Nurse
- Provide personal care services for residents professionally and in line with state guidelines
- Document all care properly
- Review and prepare shift change logs at the start and end of each shift
- Inform a licensed nurse of any changes in resident's condition or needs
- Answer emergency call systems promptly
- Follow proper procedures for medication management
- Assist with housekeeping and resident laundry as required
- Support dining room duties and serving residents
- Assist relatives, guests, and visitors as necessary
- Help with activities programs
- Maintain a positive, professional environment
- Complete all required annual training
- Adhere to OSHA regulations and safety procedures
Requirements:
- Must be currently certified as a nursing assistant or have completed the certified home health aide program
- Understand the needs of elders and show empathy and patience in your work
