IS Specialist - Computer Operator

Your role and responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate completion of daily scheduled computer production tasks and conduct daily monitoring of computer platforms
• Troubleshoot operational issues as 1st level support and escalate problems as needed for resolution
• Record all incidents and provide customer follow-up
• Offer 1st level helpdesk support outside regular business hours
• Record and address all reported problems or issues in the Incident reporting log
• Support online business applications to maintain 24x7 availability
• Monitor computer systems and collaborate with IT team to address common issues
• Quickly troubleshoot hardware and software problems
• Possess strong communication skills and a willingness to learn about the computer systems

Qualifications for the role:

• Associate's degree in Computer Technology or equivalent experience with 3 to 5 years of experience in an Enterprise environment
• Proficiency in MIS Operating system and related subsystems
• Experience with scheduling tools is advantageous
• Excellent customer service and IT terminology knowledge
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Professional representation of Global Technology
• Valid work authorization for the US is required
