Description

GENERAL PURPOSE

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Supervisor oversees the production output for the assigned shift. This role includes managing PPOH, Quality Control, Customer Relations, Housekeeping, Security, Safety, and supervising the shift's workforce.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supervising activities in the facility laundry areas, such as receiving, cleaning, and distribution of laundry.
  • Assigning tasks, directing work, and motivating team members ensuring schedule adherence.
  • Communicating business expectations clearly to all team members.
  • Managing and developing assigned teams, providing training, and assessing staff performance.
  • Supervising the distribution of laundry to customers and training new hires.
  • Ensuring a safe working environment and conducting safety training for employees.
  • Completing required reports, maintenance inspections, and inventory checks.
  • Inspecting clothing and linens for repair or disposal.
  • Assisting in conducting inventories and addressing unsatisfactory employee performance.
  • Participating in hiring, termination procedures, and performance evaluations.
  • Providing essential information for reports and payroll processes.
Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of an A.A.S/A.A. in Management or equivalent Technical degree and 1 year supervisory/operations/management experience.
  • Experience in laundry operations within large-scale facilities, commercial, or hospitality sectors preferred.
  • Proficiency in English with Bilingual Skills (Spanish or Creole) highly preferred.
  • Multi-tasking capabilities, ability to establish priorities, and maintain control in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrates initiative, responsibility, flexibility, and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Willingness to undertake additional duties as required.
