The Assistant Stewarding Manager will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the Banquets Stewarding /Stewarding Operations Department to ensure high quality service to the Food & Beverage division.

Ensures cleanliness of the operation and adherence to all State and Federal health codes.

Provides overall supervision of the Stewarding department, including planning, scheduling, organization, execution and evaluation of kitchen and banquet functions on a assigned shift.

Provide adequate training and tools for employees so they may effectively perform necessary job duties.

Makes frequent inspections to maintain proper standard of storing, handling and maintenance of industrial chemicals, kitchen, and banquets equipment.

Ensures all function areas are kept clean and in proper condition to provide a safe working environment for employees.

Inputs work order and order cleaning supplies.

Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.

Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.

Perform other job-related duties as requested.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

Includes but is not limited to:
Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Previous F&B experience as a Supervisor/Manager.

Strong computer knowledge.

Ability to work under pressure.

Ability to respond to a range of various workstations.

Preferred:
Prior experience in all phases of kitchen work and knowledge of all kitchen equipment and industrial chemicals.

Must be certified in food sanitation and knowledge in phases of banquets.

Must possess excellent customer service, communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Knowledge of computers helpful.

Must be able to work flexible hours.

Minimum Education and Experience:
Must be 21 years of age.

Preferred:
3 years back-of-the-house experience in stewarding preferred.

Prior experience in all phases of kitchen work and knowledge of all kitchen equipment and industrial chemicals.

Certificates, Licenses, Regulations:
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

Ability to obtain the following:
Food Handling Card
