Job Description:
We're looking for a dedicated and people-centric Senior Success Coach to work with graduate and undergraduate students. In this role, you'll engage students in meaningful ways to motivate them towards realizing their potential. Building positive relationships, setting goals, and overcoming obstacles are key aspects of this position. The Senior Success Coach collaborates with team members, handles student caseloads efficiently, and contributes to advancing the Success Center's goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively reach out to students to provide support and encouragement
- Assist students in creating academic and career plans
- Deliver high-quality support through various channels in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to solve problems
- Monitor student engagement and intervene when necessary
- Act as the main point of contact for online students
- Utilize critical thinking to make informed decisions
- Recommend new procedures to enhance student success
- Provide mentorship and training to new coaches
- Meet or exceed performance metrics consistently
- Adapt to change and lead peers through transitions
- Be a mentor and role model for the team
- Handle additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree and two years of experience in advising, recruitment, retention, or related student services. One year of success coaching experience preferred.
