Physical Therapist Assistant Position at CENTSTONE SERVICES LLC.

Overview: Join our team as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Columbia, MD, and make a real difference in the lives of patients with physical impairments. As a PTA, you will work alongside licensed Physical Therapists to help enhance mobility, reduce pain, and improve physical function through tailored exercises and treatments.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute treatment plans created by Physical Therapists.
  • Support patients with exercises and therapeutic activities.
  • Administer modalities like ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
  • Track and record patient progress accurately.
  • Provide guidance to patients and families on at-home exercises.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited PTA program with an Associate degree.
  • Valid state licensure or PTA certification.
  • Excellent communication abilities and physical endurance.

Work Environment:

  • Opportunities in hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation centers, nursing homes, schools, and private practices.
  • Role involves physical tasks such as standing, lifting, and aiding patients.
