Freight Settlement Coordinator-Decatur, IL
This is a Non-Exempt level position

Position Summary:
The FOB Trucking group has an opportunity for the right candidate to become part of a team that offers a variety of responsibilities and challenges. The Settlement Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accounts for multiple ADM FOB Trucking locations and outside trade customers. This includes all transactional responsibilities related to contracting, payment, and invoicing of grain, along with all third party freight and demurrage transactions for ADM FOB Trucking. A strong candidate will be a team player, enjoys problem solving and works well with internal and external customers.

Job Responsibilities
  • Maintain current and accurate accounts for an assigned group of vendors and customers
  • Process 3rd party freight settlements and invoices
  • Process contract changes, washes and cancellations
  • Process debit/credit memos
  • Proficient in Agris Data entry and inquiry
  • Proficient in IBM (CICS/IMS); Data entry and inquiry using CICS(APGO/OPGO, IMS(BGMENU)
  • Proficient in J.D. Edwards functionality including supplier and customer ledger
  • Work closely with all Settlement group members to ensure excellent customer service
  • Assist all customers, merchandisers and other personnel as needed
  • Process and pay freight, demurrage and broker bills
  • Cross train on other Settlement responsibilities
Job Requirements
  • Demonstrated knowledge of grain, freight and demurrage settlement practices and procedures
  • Strong analytical abilities, initiative, and problem solving skills are necessary to adapt to a rapidly changing work environment.
  • A proven track record of being dependable, reliable, meeting strict deadlines, and a strong desire to help others including internal and external clients
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to function in a team environment
  • Knowledge of ADM Accounting Systems including Agris, J.D. Edwards, IMS, CICS, A/P, and A/R
  • Experience accessing documents using Infopac and Mobius Document Direct
  • Basic understanding of NGFA Trade Rules
  • An Associate's degree in Accounting or Business is preferred
  • Minimum of three years of ADM experience or equivalent is preferred
  • Working Knowledge of Agris, CICS, J.D. Edwards and MS Office system is preferred
